Shoprite Checkers
Resurgent Energy has fitted solar systems to over 800 trailers across the country at Shoprite Checkers distribution centres, saving the client tens of millions of Rands in Diesel per year and forming part of the company’s sustainability drive. These custom developed products allow trailer systems such as refrigeration, security and tail lifts to operate independently, thus removing their dependence on Diesel and as well as reducing engine loads. These products form part of our strategy towards fast-tracking Shoprite’s transition to full electric mobility and the infrastructure needed to power it.
Coca Cola Beverages South Africa
Expanding on the product offering, Resurgent Energy has custom developed a solar system for the powering of Coca-Cola’s tail lifts and solar charging of battery-operated pallet jacks. These products vastly reduce Diesel consumption, therefore bolstering an increased profit margin for the entrepreneurs behind the wheel, as part of CCBSA’s owner-driver program.
